Sue Yingxue Li articled at Bell Temple and was hired back as an Associate. She practices a number of the firm’s specialized areas, including tort motor vehicle accident defence, occupiers’ liability, subrogation, property damage claims, wrongful dismissal claims, and general commercial litigation matters. In this capacity, she has a record of success before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
Before joining the firm, Sue summered at a respected full-service firm, specializing in personal injury and insurance litigation.
Sue obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law in 2022. At law school, Sue was heavily involved in community legal clinics, representing student tenants in housing matters and leading a project focusing on ODSP appeals. In 2022, she competed in the Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Law Moot and was awarded Best Factum and Top Law School.
