Monika Korona joined Bell Temple in April 2016, having previously practiced at a respected full service firm in Hamilton. She was born in Sweden, and practiced law there prior to moving to Canada in 2010. Monika has experience in a wide range of litigation matters, including tort motor vehicle accidents, statutory accident benefits, priority disputes, product liability, slip and fall accidents, UMC/44R claims, occupiers’ liability, ancient sexual assault cases, property losses and subrogation. She has represented clients at settlement conferences, mediations, pre-hearings, pre-trials, and has successfully argued before the Court of Appeal for Ontario, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Small Claims Court, and at the Automobile Accident Benefits Service of the Licence Appeal Tribunal.
Monika understands that clients don’t just look for a lawyer; but for an advocate, an expert advisor, and a negotiator. She also recognizes that her insurance clients face a growing volume of claims and strives to always provide the best advice in a timely and cost-efficient way. While the practice of law can be challenging, it is her job to ensure that the process is as easy as possible for her clients and to obtain results that suite her client’s needs.
