Lanette joined Bell Temple as an associate after articling with the firm. Her practice includes occupiers’ liability, property loss, tort motor vehicle accident defence and general commercial litigation matters. Lanette regularly appears before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
Lanette obtained her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University in 2023. During law school, she was actively involved with the Queen’s Prison Law Clinic, where she regularly represented clients in disciplinary hearings and appeared before the Parole Board of Canada. Lanette was further accepted into the Advanced Prison Law Clinic, where she assisted with strategic litigation focused on addressing human rights challenges faced by incarcerated individuals.
