Kyle’s practice primarily focuses on defending the interests of insurers and insureds across a variety of tort contexts, including motor vehicle accident litigation, occupiers’ liability, property damage claims and subrogated claims. He also has experience with coverage disputes and general commercial litigation matters. Kyle has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario. He is a detail-oriented litigator who understands that mastery of the facts is critical to obtaining the best outcomes for his clients.

Kyle obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Ottawa in 2015, graduating cum laude. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Dalhousie University in 2019, where he received numerous awards and distinctions for his academic achievement. Kyle summered and articled at a large international firm in his hometown of Ottawa, Ontario. He returned as an associate after he was called to bar the in 2020, before moving to Toronto to join Bell Temple LLP in 2021.

Outside of work, Kyle sits on the executive committee of the board of directors for Geriatric Psychiatry Community Services of Ottawa. He has also volunteered with the Elizabeth Fry Society on the issue of prisoner’s rights and was a peer educator with the Indigenous Blacks and Mi’Kmaq Initiative.
